Method · Unchanged since 2011
Forty days between the call and the first door.
We don’t sell from a catalogue. Every trip goes through the same process. It’s slow, it’s in writing, and you can cancel at any step at no cost up to twenty-one days before.
Visual proof of the method

Step 01
The conversation
A forty-minute call. No prior form. Mohamed listens, takes notes by hand, promises nothing. If the trip doesn’t fit the season or the fleet, we tell you on the same call.
No obligation · No initial budgetStep 02
The zero notebook
A hand-bound notebook arrives at your home within a week. Thirty pages: hosts you’ll meet, riads you’ll sleep in, what is and isn’t included, a frank budget and tentative calendar. Read it over an afternoon with a tea. We won’t ask anything until you’ve closed the last page.
Physical notebook · A4 · Italian paperStep 03
The own calendar
If you say yes, we open a place in your name. We book directly with the hosts and request the riad, jet or helicopter; each service stays pending until the supplier confirms it in writing. The deposit is only charged once everything is confirmed. Cancellation follows the published policy.
Written cancellation tiersStep 04
The final notebook
Mohamed greets you in person the first morning of the trip. The nights that follow are covered by the assigned host — a single name, no switchboard. Sixty days later the second notebook arrives: photographs by the trip's author, annotated maps, the accounts closed to the penny.
Final notebook · 60 days post-trip
The zero notebook is where we turn down most trips. If the traveller doesn’t recognise themselves in it, we refund the full deposit and don’t sign. Three out of ten don’t reach signing. The closed season allows us this.
